BIG PAPA is a 438-word picture book (ages 4-8) about Sierra who needs her expressive, loving Sicilian grandfather, Big Papa, like spaghetti needs meatballs, so she is heartbroken when she and her mother must move away. Big Papa promises to visit soon, but he gets the flu. Sierra has some ideas to get him better, but they backfire.
