Ever Wonder About Your Fur Babies Once They Cross The Rainbow Bridge?

When a book touches your heart, you need to share it!

So many of us love our animals, no matter the species. Many of them have a shorter lifespan than humans, so we grieve when they die, especially so if they die before their traditional life expectancy. Sometimes we must make the decision to euthanize. It is heart wrenching even when you know you are doing what is best for your beloved pet.

The Amazing Afterlife of Animals by Karen A Anderson gave me peace. She is an animal psychic who can talk to animals alive or who are on The Other Side. Fascinating. A quick read.

I won’t give it all away, but she says our animals are always with us. We tend to live multiple lives with the same human and animal souls. Some animals give signs once they pass.

I was completely devistated when my Golden Retriever, Micah, died at the age of six with abdominal lymphoma. I lost his sister just three weeks later to the same horrible cancer. I loved both of my Goldens, but I had a special bond with Micah. Karen says certain souls live together for multiple if not hundreds of lifetimes, so some deaths hit harder than others. She says they will try to comfort us if they can. It is possible the soul in a rat named Tasha was also known to me. My heart was broken when she died at age one from cancer. You must be thinking…a RAT?!! And I have had to say goodbye to six of them. The other five all lumped together did not fell me to my knees as losing little Tasha.

I felt Micah on my bed for three nights after his passing. He was a large Golden of 92 pounds, so he had some weight. I even turned on the light to see what I felt. Nothing was there. Micah knew he had to get through to me because I was so distraught. He materialized at my aunt’s home in Florida. She had only met Micah once, but she is psychic. He walked all the way through her house, looking back. He knew she would tell me.

Her book made me think of looking for signs from the Universe. She says her hope is we each recognize our gifts and our path upon this Earth. We are here for a purpose. It gives me such solace to know when it’s my time, my loved ones, both human and four-footed will be there to greet me.
