Kimmie’s Advice: Carpe Dogem
Woof! Kimmie here. Mom said I could pawg since it’s my sixth birthday. Birthdays are the BEST!
I get delish food, a special walk all by myself, compliments with pets and kisses galore, and my favorite-a puppacino.
Mom and Dad look serious lately. Something about paw-litics.
All I can tell you is my life is fantastic. Paw-litics doesn’t affect the love I am shown. I still get delicious meals, daily walks, playtime with the pack, and all the love and kisses any dawg could ever want. My paw-ents make me feel so special. I try to share my special snuggles with them, especially with dad. I know I am his Heart Dog.
So my hooman fwens, my advice is to be more like dawgs. Live in the moment. That’s what Carpe Dogem means. Celebrate milestones like birthdays and anniversaries. Find joy in each day.
For me joy is food, of course ,and retrieving. I live to fetch my special ball. I am fast and smart. I need to be. My son, Orvie, is a speedy pup, but I do a pretty good job of showing him mom still has it! I admit that I do love chomping mulch and sometimes hunks of grass. My paw-ents don’t approve, but we dogs just go with what feels good in the moment. No regrets.
So don’t lose your smile, hoomans. Keep your sense of humor. We dawgs will show you how to be happy. Let’s Carpe Dogem together.
