It’s Time to Play “Name That Picture Book!”
Who doesn’t love a game show? Is the catchy gameshow tune playing in your head?
I have applied to PB Rising Stars as a potential mentee. Today they asked, '“Why do you love creating picture books?”
This is a very good question because picture books tend to be the most challenging type of book to get published due to high cost. It can be a loooooong haul with a lot of ‘no thanks yous. This is not right for my list. Wish you luck. Bye bye bye.”
But I am hooked! Picture books are magical. They speak to all ages and become dearly loved friends.
SO, let’s highlight a few. If this is fun, we will “play” again.
I will give you a clue per book. If you know the titles, drop it in the comments. If you know the authors, too, you get double high fives and some twirls. These six are just the tip of the iceberg. I would love to play again, to remember, to celebrate…
Have some fun! Smile! And definitely get the book to read over and over again! Can’t wait to see your answers!
